One Year Checkup

Well everyone, Kaitlyn has grown so much. She had her one-year checkup and is doing great. She now weighs 20.5 lbs and is 30 1/2 inches tall (90%tile)....wow, she grew 4 inches since her 6 month checkup. No wonder she's outgrown most of her clothes...oh well, guess we have to go shopping. She wasn't very happy getting three shots. Tomorrow daddy gets to take her in for her flu shot....When the pediatrician asked if she was getting around or saying any words, he could not believe all the words that she says and how quickly she walks around....she's definitely advanced for her age....our smart little pumpkin.

Now this is what football's all about!

Well everyone, this is what yesterday's game was all about. Wet, wet, and very wet. It rained so hard yesterday and it was cold and windy. The boys played well in their playoff game but they slid all over the field. It made for a very difficult game, especially since they were unable to feel their hands and they were sooooo cold. There were several turnovers but in the end, Eddie's team won. Eddie was handed the ball and ran it in for a touchdown. He came close to getting tackled several times and we were not sure if he would stay on his feet. He kept looking back and the coaches kept yelling at him to not turn around. After the game, the players and even the coach slid in the mud. At the trophy ceremony last night he got a game ball and is now known by the coaches as "crazy legs". He had a really good time this season (first time playing football) and was so proud of himself. He made a lot of friends and now LOVES football.
Posted by Picasa Matthew and I had to literally peel the clothes off of Eddie in the parking lot!
