Working at the Stables

Today we took Clayton with us to Kristina's job. She helps out a cool person named Kari with her horses. Kristina does horse chores in exchange for riding lessons. Kristina loves hanging out with Kari because Kari loves to read and loves horses. Clayton wanted to meet the horses. Here he is with Tree. He had so much fun helping Kristina and watching the horses. They kept following him back and forth so he got a kick out of that. Then he rode on the RTV that Kristina uses to dump the manure. He loved the bumpy ride across the dark field...he thought that was soooo cool! In some pictures you'll see Kristina hard at work. He's really enjoying working with the horses. He's been on Tree already and can't wait to ride him again. The females will follow Kristina around and even give her kisses...too cute!

Business trip to Lincoln City

The guys treated us gals to a night in Lincoln City. Some played a little at the casino. Dinner was amazing! The drive home was hilarious...lots of laughs and fun music.
Here are a few pictures of everyone hanging out at the hotel room.

I love this picture....I was looking around for Clayton and Kaitlyn since they were quiet. I found them cuddling on the floor together watching a video. Too cute!

Daddy and Sissy are home!

Posted by PicasaThe kiddos were so excited to have Daddy and Sissy home. After a week in Dallas they finally came home....and with a few presents. Kaitlyn and Clayton loved playing with their gifts Dad brought home from the Medieval Times where he took Oma and Opa for dinner. They had a great time, came home with suntans and we were all glad to have everyone together. Oma even came out to visit.
"Ok Dad, you're going down"...Clayton plays with Dad.

We're still here...

Hi everyone, life has been very busy lately but good. I've been very behind in blogging so I thought I'd quickly write and post some pictures. Matthew is in Dallas with Kristina visiting a college in Arkansas and visiting his parents. They are having so much fun. I miss them and can't wait for them to come home this week. Eddie is now on spring break and enjoying his sleepovers with friends. Connor is giving me a little break from the teething and is his happy self again....and Kaitlyn, oh Kaitlyn, always into something. She definitely keeps me on my toes...can't let that girl out of my sight. But I've been able to garden with her and that's been fun; she enjoys it and it keeps her out of trouble...my mom-in-law comes in this week also...we can't wait for her to come...I get a little reprieve and we love to play cards. Well, I am off to do more laundry, I'm up to my eyeballs in laundry...yuk! I'll update you all some more later.

Jesus has Risen...

Easter came a lot faster this year, so it seems...but with the busy life we lead, so many remember a very important day for those that are Christians...the day Jesus rose from the dead to be with His Father in Heaven so that you and I can one day enter Heaven. What an amazing love God has for us to sacrifice his one and only Son for each one of us....Thank You God for loving us so much! I tried explaining us going to Heaven one day to Kaitlyn but all she can think of was "Mama, I would miss you soooo much"....she's still too little understand death, but hopefully one day she'll ask Jesus into her heart too.

Winter Formal 2008

This year Kristina and her friend Megan got all dolled up for the Winter Formal at school. They look beautiful, of course and had a great time. Oh, and they are "unidentical twins". Since they met 8 years ago, they've celebrated their birthdays together for they were born on the same day and the same year!
