Summer Project..

Ok, so I started a summer project at home...making a garden path along the side of the house....I did not realize how much work was entailed but I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I got most of the plants in but now I have to lay down the weed fabric and the mulch. Then I can work on the center....more photos later whenever I can get this finished.

Planter's Day Parade 2008

The kids waited for more candy to be thrown during the parade...it was a fun day but then it got really hot and the kids got tired of collecting candy. By the end of the parade their bags were very full. The floats were great!

Clayton finds his best friend Logan at the parade...they were both so happy to see each other that they ran to each other and gave each a big hug!

Clayton kept asking why the horses always pooped right in front of us...
Have no fear, the poop scooper is here...

This man was a hoot...he grabbed onto the back of a truck during the parade so he would not have to pedal.

Father's Day at Great Wolf Lodge

We took off for a few days to celebrate Father's Day and end of the school year to Great Wolf Lodge, an indoor waterpark. It was AMAZING! We had a blast and boy were we tired. Definitely a kid-friendly place no matter the age. The kids got to play in the park anytime during the day and evening. We definitely recommend this place. Enjoy the photos.

Clayton was so proud that he made it across without falling...it was quite challenging..
Of course they have to climb on the snake for a picture.

After dinner we sat in the lobby for the show and bedtime story before going to bed.

These characters come to life and tell a story...the tree dances.

After storytime the beaver comes out to say goodnight to the children. Connor was a bit hesitant. Clayton and Kaitlyn would not go near him.
Here Connor gives him a high five.
Dad had to get his picture too.
