Hi everyone, its been a while since I've updated our blog. I'm still having some technical difficulties but will have some new pictures up soon....I promise.

Kristina auditioned for the school musical "Annie" and got a few small parts which she was happy about. But just today she found out that they want her to play Ms. Hannigan. Kristina is soooo excited to have a major role. She's even more excited because the music director thinks she has a great voice and can't believe she's not in choir. So you know what that means....lots of singing around the house, in the shower, in the car, oh, and late rehearsals....

Prayer Request

Hi Everyone,

Here's a picture of my sister, Nancy who is 14 weeks pregnant. Yes, that's right, pregnant. Not only that, she's expecting TRIPLETS! Please pray for her and her babies that she will be able to carry them to at least June 13th (34 weeks) and that the babies will be strong and healthy enough to continue to grow until then; at which time their chances of survival are great. Nancy has been trying to have a baby for a long time. After 11 years, 10+ IVF procedures, 2 miscarriages, one ectopic pregnancy, and one stillborn, she has been blessed with another pregnancy. She is considered high risk with all the complications (eclampsia where she ended up in ICU at Yale)she's had but is doing well so far. She is monitored closely and is seen by the doctor twice a month. Thanks so much.

Technical Difficulties

Hi everyone. We've been having technical difficulties with Internet Explorer 7.0 and blogger so we haven't been able to post any new pictures lately. We've gone back to 6.0 and will post new pictures soon. We are all doing well...busy as always but good. We had snow last week so that was fun although it made for a treacherous commute. Portland area just isn't prepared for snow since its very unusual.

Merry Christmas 2006

Hi everyone, here's a picture with Santa at my company Christmas party. I had to get in the picture and talk Kaitlyn into sitting on my lap for this picture. Kaitlyn freaked out when she saw Santa and didn't want anything to do with it. She started running the other way when she saw him. I caught her and had to explain that he's the guy that says Ho Ho Ho. After she calmed down we got as close as we could, said hello and got our picture taken. Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a wonderful Thanksgiving we had. This year we were so blessed to have mom and dad here for Thanksgiving. We celebrated the new addition to the family, Connor Jay and also celebrated Kaitlyn's 2nd birthday. It was so much fun cooking, eating yummy desserts, and watching Christmas movies. I even had the previledge of watching "Rudy" with dad (his favorite movie which always makes him cry). Mom and I got the house decorated for Christmas (looks beautiful) and went shopping. We all look forward to seeing them again soon.

Here's Kaitlyn with her Opa. She is such an Opa's girl from day one. She could not stop giving Opa hugs and kisses and just loved sitting on Opa's lap to cuddle. It was soooo cute!

Birthday Girl turns 2

Here's our birthday girl. We celebrated Kaitlyn's birthday with Oma and Opa. She even blew out the candles all by herself and opened presents with a little help from her brother Clayton. It was such a fun, special day!

Opa came to visit and meet his newest grandson, Connor. We had a wonderful visit and look forward to seeing Opa again.

Oma comes to visit and meets Connor for the very first time. She could not wait to get her hands on him. She gets to celebrate Thanksgiving with us and we are so grateful that we get to see her. Now we're just waiting for Opa to arrive in a few days!

Connor turns 1 month

Matthew took this picture with his camera phone last night. Here's Connor who just turned 1 month...he's changing so fast and getting big too...just about outgrown his NB clothes and is now in size 1 diapers. He is such a sweet, laid-back little boy. Oh, and he loves lots of kisses! :) 

Trick or Treat

Hi everyone. Here are pictures of yesterday's event. Kaitlyn enjoyed saying "trick or treat" but did not quite understand what the candy is for. Dad took her out and she got tired so she wanted to be held. Eddie looked gorgeous and Kristina was rockin'. We had so many kids come to our house...party in the garage...where we gave out cookies, hot cocoa and candy and got to listen to some music. It was great to see the neighborhood kids in their costumes and met some new people. We had a great time!

 

 

 

 

Connor - 3 weeks

Here's our sweet Connor sleeping. At 3 weeks old he's already 9.5 lbs and gaining weight very quickly. I just love to watch him sleep.
